COVID-19 Update 3-17-20

From all of our doctors and staff at Stamford Pediatric Associates we would first like to thank you for your ongoing patience and understanding during a difficult and unprecedented time.  We understand that many of you will have questions in the coming weeks and the advice we give may continue to change on a daily basis as new recommendations are made.

We are now pleased to offer telemedicine virtual visits for sick patients during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Learn More Here.

Our practice has implemented some important guidelines in an effort to protect our patients, their families and our staff. Walk-in hours are suspended at both offices indefinitely. The Darien office is limited to sick visits only. The Stamford office office is for well child visits only. If your child is sick, we ask that you call our office ahead of time.

Stamford Pediatrics still does NOT have and will NOT have the capability to test for COVID-19.  This requires safety measures that are unavailable to outpatient offices.

With that in mind, if you would like your child to be tested or feel like your child should be tested it is imperative that you NOT come to the office.  Please call our office ahead of time for guidance on if and where testing should be performed.

Information will continue to change daily and we encourage all of our families to refer to information on the cdc website: www.cdc.gov/coronavirus.  Yale is also offering an excellent hotline for all COVID-19 related questions 203-688-1700 or 833-484-1200.

The doctors and staff of Stamford Pediatrics wish your families good health and quality family time while this continues.
