Biography:
Born and raised in Denver, Colorado I spent much of my childhood playing competitive tennis. Upon graduating from Cherry Creek High School, I earned an athletic scholarship to the University of Notre Dame where I served as captain of the women’s tennis team and majored in Anthropology and Pre-Health studies. From there, I attended medical school at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed my residency training at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. In 2013 I moved with my husband from New York City to Hoboken, New Jersey where I practiced general pediatrics for 4 years. Though we immensely enjoyed our time in Hoboken our desire for more space and suburban life brought us to Darien, Connecticut where we recently bought a home.
I am truly passionate about caring for children and one of my greatest pleasures is forming lasting relationships with the families that entrust me with their children’s care. I have a particular interest in nutrition and fitness and believe that promoting healthy habits from an early age is paramount to a child’s overall wellness throughout their lifetime.
My husband and I currently get a lot of exercise running after our 3-year-old son but when we have spare time, we enjoy playing tennis together. We also love to travel and eat out (which has been seldom in the past 3 years) but hope to do again someday!
I am honored and excited to be a part of the Stamford Pediatrics team and look forward to the privilege of seeing your children grow and develop over time.
