Biography:
I grew up in Westchester County in Purchase, N.Y. and attended Harrison High School. I spent my college years in Washington, D.C. at Georgetown University, where I majored in psychology. After graduation, I returned to New York to attend medical school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx and graduated with honors. I then went on to complete my residency in pediatrics at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan.
After residency, I worked as a pediatrician at Englewood Hospital in New Jersey. There, I worked as a pediatric hospitalist caring for newborns and children in the hospital and also as a general pediatrician, seeing patients in the hospital-based health center. After our twin boys became toddlers, my husband and I decided to move our family out of Manhattan to Westport, Connecticut to be close to our families and to have some fresh air for our boys to grow and run!
I spend most of my free time with my family and friends. I love running after my boys and making them laugh, although they are actually much funnier than I am. My husband and I love to travel but have not done much since we’ve become parents, which is fine with us!
Seeing my patients grow into their own unique people is my absolute favorite part of my job. I am very excited to be a part of Stamford Pediatrics and have the privilege of getting to know your families and watching your children grow.
